We also build wider straightload floats at the  width of 6'6" (1980mm) i.e. angle load width.

Standard Features:

• Fully Galvanised Chassis
• We leave a 10mm gap in the floor between the rear floor joist and the rear chassis rail with the object of facilitating the  ready exit of moisture from the float
• A frame (drawbar)  extends right back to the front spring hanger, irrespective of the length of float. The drawbar is approx. 1.1metres in length.
• Filled in A frame.
• Strong and easy to wind swing up jockey wheel - Australian made.
  
• Floor joists are at 350mm (approx.) centres and to that heavy duty Blackbutt hardwood Armour Ply (rated at F27) is teck screwed to the floor joists at 150mm intervals.
• Stall walls are 1.6mm zincanneal sheeting glued and welded to the frame.
• Sheeting is .75mm zincanneal in continuous lengths horizontally, thus eliminating unecessary joins, and not using off cuts. Sheeting is glued not rivetted
• Rubber is glued to the entire floor including the tailgate and the stall walls with four anti –slip strips glued to the tailgate rubber. All rubber is sealed as the edges.
• The entire frame is etch primed before .75mm cladding is glued to the frame.
• Axles are 45mm square with 4” drops, one fitted with electric brakes.
  
• Heavy duty seven leaf eye slipper springs.
• The tailgate may be fitted with a spring or gas struts, whichever is preferred.
• The tailgate is 4’7” in height and is fitted with a step and employs stainless steel hinges.
• Spring loaded over centre latches secure the tailgate.
• One recessed tie up on each side of the float.
• Recessed handle(s) to the doors.
• New light truck tyres, new Sunraysia mags.
• One centrally placed roof vent.
• One quality twin fluro interior light.
• One head divider removable and swinging.
• Removable and adjustable chest bars (2 heights).
• Removable centre pole.
• Rump bars.
• The interior (inc. rump bars) is fully padded.
• Stall length is 6’6”
• Internal height is 7’4”.
• Chequer plate to a height of 760mm around the front and covers the mudguards and the triangular stays at the rear of the float. Chequer plate also covers the full sized steps, which are standard, as are the infills behind the mudguards.
• L.E.D. lights are standard.
  
• Automotive 2 pack white paint is standard with scrolling and pin striping  -  see note in Non Standard Options below.

        The  most commonly  requested non standard options  are as listed hereunder:

        Large tack box 1.05m high, with two access doors, bridle hooks and hanging rail  $770 inc. gst

        2nd personal access door  $198 inc.gst.

        Sliding side windows, tinted  $341/pair inc.gst.

        Breeching doors 40cm deep, fully padded with spring loaded, çlick shut, action.  $440 inc. gst.

        Gas lift storm door, fitted with stainless steel hinges - hinged at the roof height.  $650 inc. gst.

        Rug rack, open.  $165. Fully closed with gas strut swing up door. $280 inc. gst.

       Storm cover vinyl/canvas $220 inc.gst.

       2nd braked axle $320 inc. gst.

       Breakaway unit $341 inc. gst.

       Large painted 300mm band $250 inc gst.

Note: Standard signwriting make use mainly of high quality vinyl stickers which can also include bands.

Hand painted designs, pin striping, scrolling and bands etc attracts an additional charge of $300.
